All Catholic schools, colleges and universities nationwide will pray the Holy Rosary simultaneously this coming November 11, 2011 at exactly 11:00 o' clock in the morning. This activity is
part of the ongoing rosary prayer campaign called “A Million Roses for the
World which started last October 10 and will end on May 30 next year.
During this day, the Crossian Voice members will lead the community of Holy Cross of Davao College, main campus in singing the theme song of the celebration entitled "A Million Roses for the World" . The lyricist is Rev. Msgr. Soc Villegas and music by Ryan Cayabyab. The CVO members will also sing other Marian songs.
Here's the lyrics of the Song:
A MILLION ROSES FOR THE WORLD
Lyrics: Msgr. Soc Villegas
Music: Ryan Cayabyab
We dream of a world at peace. We dream of a world of love. We dream of a world at prayer, a world at peace in love with God.
I have a mother in heaven; I have a Queen in my heart. My mother's name is Mary, blessed handmaid of God.
Refrain:
We pledge to pray the Rosary that peace may reign supreme; a million roses of prayer, a million roses for peace. (Repeat 3X)
Change can only happen in
the world through prayer, and there can be no world peace without prayer. The
rosary is the life of our Blessed Lord from the eyes of His Blessed Virgin
Mother. This campaign aims to teach us that prayer can change the world and
people who pray can change the destinies of peoples.
