The Holy Cross of Davao College has now a new school song entitled EX FIDE AD VERITATEM following the school motto meaning "From Faith to Truth." The lyricist and the composer is Elsa C. Corbit, one of the Campus Ministers of HCDC, College Department and also the Trainer and Moderator of the Crossian Voice Organization.
Significant dates:
Lyrics were written and finished last February 11, 2013- Feast of the Our Lady of Lourdes.
2. Music was composed in the evening of February 14, 2O13 – Valentine’s day
3. Accompaniment (Minus One) was finished dawn of February 28, 2013 – last day of Benedict the XVI as Pope of the Catholic Church and in the same date (noon of Feb. 28, 2013), the song was presented and interpreted by the composer (with the Crossian Voice Choir) in front of the Board of Trustees and after a deliberation, the body approved the composition as the Official New School Song of the Holy Cross of Davao College, in this YEAR OF FAITH.
