The whole HCDC community participated
the synchronized Holy Rosary for Peace
last November 11, 2011 at
exactly 11 in the morning
together with all Catholic schools, colleges
and universities throughout the country.
Those who have classes stayed at their
respective classrooms for the Rosary
while the employees and
students who had no classes stayed
at the Student lounge and HCDC gym.
The HCDC Campus Ministers
and the Crossian Voice members
led the Rosary and sung its theme song
entitled "A Million of Roses
for the world" at the gym
which was heard throughout HCDC compound.
Likewise the Annex
and Bajada Campuses participated the
said activity.
The activity was part of the ongoing
rosary campaign called
"A Million Roses for the world",
a prayer campaign for all Filipinos
living in the Philippines
Change can only happen in the world through prayer,
and there can be no world peace without prayer.
The Rosary is the life of our Blessed Lord
from the eyes of His Blessed Virgin Mother.
This campaign aims to teach us that prayer can change the world
and people who pray can change the destinies of peoples.
